Initial Designs- Inspiration

From the concepts which i have looked into i have be able to develop my ideas into designs. i have used all of my concepts in these first initial designs, i will then develop the designs which i think are the strongest and show the construction of them in more detail.

The texture which is shown in the above designs is mainly influenced from the texture of skin, the wrinkles and creases which are shown, are representing both the ageing of skin and how it can be changed and moved to create new shapes.

I have again looked at skin and how it changes with damage and age, but i have also start to design using the concept of African scarring to the body, which is able to involve new ideas and shapes.

These designs are mainly influenced by the hands as the finger prints have been used and so is the shape of the hands. The pockets which are used in the designs are able to show protection as gloves incorporated into the garment.
